This led me down a path of trying to troubleshoot the Volume Shadow Copy service, but to no avail. Macrium says that it "Failed to Create Volume Snapshot. Of course, Disk Utility won't do this, so I downloaded Macrium Reflect on the Bootcamp side and planned to accomplish my goal by using the program to copy the partition directly over to the SSD. ![]() To do this, I've restored the Mac partitions from the HDD to the SSD, created a NTFS partition, and now want to image over the Bootcamp partition from the HDD to the SSD (right now, the SSD is simply connected externally through USB). I'm trying to replace the HDD with a SSD. I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro that I'm working on. ![]()
